									       2006 Preparedness Training Series
           NCCPHP is pleased to offer a NEW Preparedness Training Series featuring
        12 online training modules on preparedness topics during the 2006 calendar year!

  Everyone knows that training is essential to preparedness, but how do you decide where to
        begin? Let the 2006 NCCPHP Preparedness Training Series be your guide!

What is this series all about?
   Each month the Preparedness Training Series features:
    A preparedness training topic (including chemical, biological, radiation, mass casualty, and natural
      disaster, as well as cross cutting subjects)
    Background information on an event relevant to the selected topic
    Online training modules on the preparedness topic: a recommended training with introductory
      information (lasting approximately 30 minutes) and an optional training with more advanced content
   Check back each month for the latest topics and trainings. You can also find the featured topic of the
   month in the NCCPHP Training Web Site’s Monthly Update e-mail message.

What does it require?
   Registered participants who complete all 12 required training modules (either recommended or optional)
   will receive a certificate of completion in January 2007. While you are encouraged to complete one
   featured training each month, you may complete them at any time during the year.

What does it cost?
   There is no cost to take part in the featured trainings or to receive the certificate of completion.

How do I get started?
   To register for the NCCPHP 2006 Preparedness Training Series, send an e-mail with your name and e-mail
