Committee appointments are usually two years in duration and require a commitment to attend Midwinter
Meeting and Annual Conference for the duration of the committee term, since committee meetings are normally
held at these times. There are some limited virtual membership opportunities; committees with a virtual member
slot are marked with a “v”. As a reminder, the maximum number of concurrent separate appointments for ALSC,
ALA, or another division is three.
**You must be a personal member of ALA and ALSC to serve on an ALSC committee.
