					MINUTES OF THE BUTLER REGULAR MEETING #1832                                  October 18, 2011
 OF THE BUTLER VILLAGE BOARD


Minutes not formally approved until Regular Board Meeting on November 1, 2011.

Village President Richard Ensslin called the Board Meeting to order at 7:30 PM at the Village Hall
Board Room.

ROLL CALL
Present: President Richard Ensslin, Dave Hesselgrave, Sue Hesselgrave, Mary Turnbull,
Michael T. Thew, Sr., Walter Woloszyk, and William Benjamin
Also present: Village Administrator Jesse Thyes and Police Chief Cosgrove
Excused:
Absent:

PERSONS DESIRING TO BE HEARD
None

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES:
Motion by D. Hesselgrave; second by Woloszyk to approve the minutes of the October 4, 2011
Regular Board Meeting with corrections. Motion carried 7-0.

COMMITTEE REPORT
       (A) Finance Committee – Trustee Thew
           Present: Thew, Turnbull and Woloszyk
           Also present: Jesse Thyes, Administrator and Village President Ensslin

                   Persons Desiring to be Heard
                   Thew asks why the DPW was trimming trees on private property. Administrator
                   Thyes stated that he would check into the matter and report back.

                   1. Motion by Woloszyk; second by Thew to send recommendation for Resolution
                      11-19 Corporate Authorization Resolution for First Business Bank-Milwaukee,
                      18500 W. Corporate Drive, Brookfield, WI 53045 to Village Board. Motion
                      carried 3-0.
                   2. Motion by Thew; second by Woloszyk for Finance Committee to review and
                      send current invoices to Village Board for approval. Motion carried 3-0.
                   3. Motion by Thew; second by Woloszyk for Finance Committee to review and
                      send September Statement of Revenues and Expenditures to Village Board for
                      approval. Motion carried 3-0.

                   Motion by Thew; second by Woloszyk to adjourn Finance Committee meeting.
                   Motion carried 3-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 PM.




              (B) Library Board – Trustee Benjamin

              Trustee Benjamin reviewed the meeting proceedings and indicated the Library’s finances
              were in good shape.

REPORT OF THE ADMINISTRATOR

Administrator Thyes reported on the completion of the Flexo-Graphics storm water management
pond; meeting with a representative from RA Smith to begin work on updating the Village’s website;
and attending various meetings on behalf of the Village.

OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

        A) There were no Bartender Licenses.

        B) Motion by Thew; second by Woloszyk to approve the bills as presented for $247,421.70.
           Motion carried 7-0.

        C) Motion by Thew; second by Woloszyk to approve September Statement of Revenues

             and Expenditures. Motion carried 7-0.

         D) Motion by Woloszyk; second by Turnbull to approve Resolution 11-19 Corporate

            Drive, Brookfield, WI 53045. Motion carried 7-0.

         E) Administrator Thyes reviewed the Utilities and Debt Service sections of the draft 2012
            annual budget. No Action was taken.

Motion by Woloszyk to adjourn; second by Thew. Motion carried 7-0. The meeting was adjourned
at 8:18 PM.
