									Firmwide Intellectual Property Administrator
Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham invites you to challenge us. An international law firm with more
than 1000 lawyers in twelve offices nationwide and in the UK is seeking an experienced manager to fill the new
position of Firmwide Intellectual Property Administrator. This position will have responsibility across all
offices but should be located in one of three K&LNG offices; Pittsburgh, New York or Boston. The Intellectual
Property Administrator will be responsible for the ongoing implementation and integrity of the Intellectual
Property Group’s Administrative procedures for more than 60 IP prosecutors, including loss prevention,
electronic docketing, etc., as well as management of firmwide docketing personnel. The IP Administrator will
report to the Chief Administrative Officer (U.S.) of the Firm in coordination with the IP practice’s partner
coordinators.
The IP Administrator position requires a minimum of four years previous managerial experience with an
emphasis on staff supervision and extensive previous experience with docketing systems (CPi preferred), patent,
trademark and foreign filing office procedures, MS Access and proficiency with other MS Office programs,
experience with time and billing systems a plus. College degree required, JD or former Patent Clerk experience
a plus. Frequent domestic travel will be required to the various U.S. K&LNG offices.
