					Job Title:                COMMERCIAL ADMINISTRATOR
                          (12 month contract)
Business:                 Taylor Wimpey Exeter
Location:                 Exeter
Reports to:               Commercial Director
Direct Reports:                    -
Main Interfaces           Commercial Director  Commercial Team

                                        Overall Purpose

To provide a high quality administration service to the Commercial Department.

                                         Key Activities

Commercial Department:
   Maintain Commercial department framework agreements & chasing receipt of same
   Packaging together tender documentation & preparing information packs (CD’s) for issue to
   Issuing & chasing information relating to Health & Safety newsflashes
   Assisting with processing of customer option orders
   Inputting data onto COINS system (once installed)
   Keeping commercial “master files” up to date with latest information
   Regularly filing orders, tender analysis forms, etc.

Other general office duties:
    Photocopying
    Sending faxes
    Letter and report writing
    Making coffee for staff and meetings as required
    General office duties
    Assistance to other departments as and when required
    In addition to the above, you will be asked to undertake a variety of additional jobs and
       tasks. These will be varied and will need to be managed in conjunction with your main areas
       of responsibility.

                                        Key Experience

    Proficient with MS Word and capable with Excel & PowerPoint
    Typing speed of minimum 40 wpm
    Must have good administrative and organisational skills
    Ability to multi-task and be able to prioritise workload
    Confident with telephone work
    Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
    Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
    First class communication skills, written and verbal
    Attention to detail
    Used to working within a fast paced and pressurised office
    Hospitality / housekeeping (arrange refreshments etc.)
    Shorthand / Speedwriting, Audio / copy typing skills would be an advantage
    Experience of using COINS would be beneficial not essential
                                        Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will be part of a wider team and we are looking for someone to
complement and support the existing team members in their day to day business. The ideal
candidate will be determined to see projects through and be enthusiastic and pro-active in their
approach to the role with a willingness to accept new challenges and set high and demanding
personal goals. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
