Welcome to Video Tech! I am looking forward to an incredible year!
The video technology course is designed to facilitate the use of varied technology to communicate information
in different formats and to diverse audiences. Students will learn how to use technology to create film projects
by working in small groups to write, direct, act in, and edit projects. Through the study of video technology-
related terms, concepts, and video strategies, students will select the video technology appropriate for the
task, synthesize knowledge, create a solution, evaluate the results and produce a video presentation project.

Students will be graded in the following areas:
Daily Assignments 20%
All assignments should be completed in class. However, if students would like to work on computer
assignments at home, they may use PISD Net Storage, PISD email CD’s, and/or flash drives to transfer work
between school and home.
