Dear Parent/Carer

Re: Remission of Music Fees from September 2012

In order to qualify for remission of 50% on your music tuition invoices you must have had Local
Authority acknowledgement of your entitlement to ‘Free School Meals’.

Inspiring Music has a remission fund set aside to which your application is being made and remission
is awarded on an annual basis based on a parental application.

Once remissions have been awarded up to the value of the fund, applications will be held on a waiting
list and will be awarded once funding becomes available due a child ceasing lessons who is in receipt
of this funding If your application is successful then the remission will apply to all of the children of
whom you are legally responsible.

To apply for remission please download and complete the remissions application form. If your free
school meals application was made to a local authority other than Central Bedfordshire Council then
you need to provide evidence to prove that you have this entitlement and return to me at Inspiring

The anticipated invoicing dates for 2012/2013 are as follows but will also be dependant upon the date
of your enrolment:

Autumn Term invoice              September 2012
Spring Term invoice              December 2012
Summer Term invoice              April 2013

In order for remission to be applied to your invoice, your application and evidence (where applicable)
must be received by the office prior to the start of the term that it will be applied from. Successful
remission applications received after this cut off point will be applied from the following term’s
invoices. Please note that remission cannot be backdated.
