 Head Coach
                        I am writing you in hopes of securing your participation in the Treasure Valley Team Dual
Conference              Camp this summer (see enclosed flyer). This camp is being put together in an attempt to
Champions               provide our kids with the same opportunity that many of them get with local football
2008                    camps. DATES are July 11th thru July 14th.

2010                    The idea is that we get together over a series of several consecutive evenings and get our
2011                    kids some mat time in the form of duals. This camp will only work if we can get teams
                        to commit to it. If each of you could take the time to let me know if you and your school
                        are interested in the camp it would assist me in getting things prepared. Please either give

Champions
2008                    To review: the cost is $100.00 per team that you enter. If a school has a large number of
2009                    kids interested they may want to consider entering two teams (this would result in a cost
2010                    of $100). Two schools can combine to make one squad (this would be $50 only).
2011                    Individuals may contact schools and ask to enter with that school. Bottom line is we want
                        mat time for kids, anyway we can get kids here is great.
State
Tournament              There are going to be 14 weight classes + a 98 pound weight class. Weight classes will
Finishes                be: 98, 109, 114, 121, 127, 133, 138, 143, 149, 156, 165, 177, 191, 222, HVY.
2007 – 10th             Matches will run three rounds, with continuous time running, each round will be 1 1/2
2008 – 2nd              minutes. At a fall, the wrestler who forced the pin, will be given 6 pts. Towards the match
2009 – 1st              score and then the wrestlers will re-start wrestling with the remaining time left in the
2010 – 1st              match, if a second fall occurs, the match will end in a fall (this will help eliminate the loss
2011 – 1st              of mat time when a wrestler is totally out-skilled with his opponent).

                        Finally, Columbia is putting on a technique camp the same week, but during the day,
                        wrestlers are encouraged to take part in that camp as well, as there are some excellent
                        clinicians coming in. There will be adequate time for wrestlers and coaches to get to
                        Nampa for the dual camp each evening.

                        Please consider this opportunity, as it could be the beginning of a great way for us to each
                        contribute to creating the state’s best wrestlers here in the valley.
