MODIFICATIONS SECTION – 1 SHEET OF A3

      You need to produce a new drawing of the product you have made showing all
       the changes that have been made. They could be changes to Shape, Colour,
       Material, Size, Cost or anything else you can think of.



EVALUATION SECTION – 1 SHEET OF A3

Basically, this section is a written account of what you did and how you did it. You
need to say what you like and dislike about your product as well as what you would
do to improve it.


      Explain how your products match the needs of your design brief and
       specification
       e.g. Is a working model, uses a variety of materials, matches the designers
influence, is made for the ?????? room, Is it safe, can be batch produced, is
marketable etc. etc.
       Use the FINAL specification as a checklist – Say how each spec’ was satisfied
and why others were not.


      Explain how time planning has worked – keeping you to deadlines, give valid
       reasons why deadlines were missed – ICT down, changed focus of design,
       delays with materials, laser not working, unsure of decisions made etc.

      Explain how you have worked – what new skills you have developed –
       researching, designing, 3D drawing, working drawings, analysis, evaluating,
       CAD/CAM, laminating, varnishing, painting, joining, gluing, templates, time
       planning, Drilling, laser cutting, shaping, etc etc – combining materials.

      What would you do differently next time – change of design focus and
       inspiration, better time planning, use of subject support, better quality
       finishing, use of CAD/CAM to maintain accuracy, improve presentation of
       design work, develop drawing skills, use client more to check products are
       correct. Etc. etc.
