I represented Germany in international competitions and tournaments. At the age of 16, I became
a professional Team Handball player.

     Participated as player in professional league in Germany.
     Participated as youth player in several West German Championships.
     Represented Team Handball as a player in several international tournaments.
     Officiated at different levels of Team Handball.

                GERMAN AIR FORCE BATTALLION SPORTS OFFICER
         TEAM HANDBALL AND FIELD & TRACK COACH  GERMANY 1978 - 1988

Supervised, organized, evaluated and scheduled all sports related activities as Sports Officer for
the German Air Force team in local, NATO and German competitions.

   Coached and played Team Handball on local, national & international competition,
    representing German Air Force.
   Represented German Air Force in NATO competitions as Coach and player.
   Became Sports Officer of our Battalion.
   Received awards and honors in the sports of Team Handball and Field & Track.
   Was sent to special German Air Force Sports Academy for “Coaching & Methods”.


                     COLORADO PIONEERS TEAM HANDBALL CLUB
                   HEAD COACH, PLAYER & FOUNDER  USA 1988 - 1994

Founded, developed, organized, played and coached the “Colorado Pioneers Team Handball
Club” in Denver, Colorado.

   US National Team member at the USOTC in Colorado Springs, Colorado 1988
   Organized, officiated, played and coached at Colorado Pioneers international “Mile High
    Tournament” at the USOTC in Colorado Springs, Colorado that included teams from the U.S.
    such as USAFA, Sushi Masters, Kansas, Wyoming, California as well as Saskatchewan and
    Manitoba, Canada.
   Participated as a player and coach of my club, Colorado Pioneers at US Nationals from 1988
    to 1994 and after only 3 years, we were in the US Nationals final game, losing only to the
    former Olympic players team from Colorado Springs.
   Held Team Handball show scrimmages at Denver Nugget games and other events on TV.
   Promoted Team Handball in local events and tournaments as development chair for THB.


                     COACHING & METHODS INSTRUCTOR
      METROPOLITAN STATE COLLEGE OF DENVER, COLORADO  USA 1990 - 1992

In order to promote Team Handball, I wrote, organized, developed and taught an accredited
curriculum for Team Handball at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Due to this program, I was
able to find more talented players for my club as well as for the US National Team.


                            U.S. OLYMPIC FESTIVALS
            COMMISSIONER, HEAD AND ASSISTANT COACH  USA 1991 - 1995

I had the honor to be selected to participate in several US Olympic Festivals. It was very
important for me to have meaningful and fair tryouts were held in several major cities in the US,
since I know there were tremendous opportunities to make the US National THB team.

   Commissioner for the USTHF at the US Olympic Festival in Denver, Colorado.
   Head Coach for the US North Men’s Team Handball team at St. Louis, Missouri and San
    Antonio, Texas.
   Assistant Coach for the US North Men’s Team Handball team at Los Angeles, California.

                      REFEREE, SPECIAL OLYMPICS WORLD GAMES
                       AT NEW HAVEN CONNECTICUT, USA  1995

I had the honor to represent the United States as an Official of Team Handball at the Special
Olympics World Games that were sponsored by Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria
Shriver.

                        AT LAS VEGAS NEVADA, USA  2010

I successfully met and implemented major goals that were set by USATH for the 2010 Nationals
for Team Handball. This included sponsorships, establishment of a local team in Las Vegas,
entire venue management and setup, prioritization and time restrictions, arrival and departure
issues; involved in contracts, security, media, access and ticket sales. In addition, I managed
volunteers, medical and other professional staff members necessary to hold a successful event
like this nationals for men and women. I stayed within budget and schedule restrictions.
