If you are unfortunate enough to lose something
of value when in Spain, you go to the Oficina de
objetos perdidos (Lost Property Office) of the
company concerned. Theft from cars is not
uncommon. If this happens to you, go to the local
Comisaría (Police Station) to make a complaint
(una denuncia). You will need a police report of the
incident for your insurance company back home.
