We are building a good relationship with Heinz Foods. They’re counting on us for quick,
accurate results. At this time, they are offering us $100,000.

I suggest that you titrate the vinegar. You have standardized NaOH to use for titration.
Before you start, give me the following items to review.
     detailed one-page plan for the procedure with all necessary data tables

Get started in the lab as soon as our plan has been approve. When you’re finished,
prepare a report in the form of a letter that follows your outline of four paragraphs.
Address the letter to our client and to the person who provided the sample for analysis.
In your conclusion be sure to discuss your data. You must include the following:
      balanced chemical equation for the titration reaction
      conclusion written in a letter format having four paragraphs
      Address Dear Sir or Madame,
           o First, respond to the question/statement raised in the PURPOSE and explain
  5 pts         why and how you got your results.
           o Next, evaluate your HYPOTHESIS. Was it right or wrong? Why? What
                information did your use to make your guess? How have your changed your
  5 pts         mind? Example: A person can tell the difference between the waters by
                observation like clarity, but all the waters had a different odor. Therefore, my
                hypothesis was not correct all water is not the same by clarity. Discuss Data!
           o Then, you should list at least one source of error (chemistry has more than one),
  5 pts         something which affected your experiment but was not in your control (called
                inherent error) or which wasn’t properly controlled for, Example: change in drop
                size. Discuss Data
           o Finally, explain what you learned in your own words.
  5 pts

           You must sign your letter at the bottom and type your name for- two
