A.P. Language and Composition Weekend Assignment
Dictionary of Literary and Rhetorical Terms
VALUE=200 points

Let’s get Funky (and Wagnall-sy) in here as you all create a Dictionary of Literary and
Rhetorical Terms! Although the A.P. exam will not necessarily ask you for literary
definitions, you need to know/review the following terms that will help you understand
the content of the multiple choice passages as well as provide you with some terms you
may use in breaking down the essays. Not only will you define these terms, but you must
also provide an example of them so you can reinforce the term’s meaning with an
application. Be sure to give your dictionary a ‘jazzy/pizzazzy’ cover and include
pictures/graphics whenever/wherever you see fit. HAPPY DICTIONARY MAKING!
