Family Health After Predictive HD Testing
The major goal of this project is to identify health concerns and care needs of family members of asymptomatic
persons with a positive DNA test in the gene for Huntington Disease. Specific responsibilities in data collection,
data analysis, interpretation of project results, presentations at professional conferences and writing manuscripts
for publication.

Screening for Heritable Disorders in Children: Efficacy from a Family/Consumer Perspective
The major goal of this project is to ascertain the family and provider perceptions of newborn screening programs,
and to achieve parent and health care provider participation in newborn screening programs planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities are for data collection by individual interviews of health care
provider key informants and interview data analysis. Development of presentations/publications is planned.
