Rules for the 6th annual Harvest Festival Pageant are as follows:
1. Contestants of the Harvest Festival Pageant must live, work or attend school in Starke
County. Age groups for the competition are as follows:
Miss 15-20
Little Miss: 10-14
Tiny Miss: 5-9
2. Contestant must not have had a child or be knowingly pregnant at the time of the
Pageant. If the contestant becomes pregnant during her reign, she will be required to
relinquish her title.
3. Contestant must have never been married and also will be required to remain single
through the following pageant year.
4. As Harvest Festival Queens you will be required to attend many events throughout the
weekend of the Harvest Festival; August 24-26, 2012. An agenda will be provided to
you. You are responsible for your own convertible for the Harvest Festival Parade.
5. Your reign as Harvest Festival Queen will continue until the following year’s Harvest
Festival Royalty is chosen.
5. Judging will be divided into four (3) areas for the Tiny and Little Miss Contestants:
o Summer Wear (Be creative-No Swimwear)
o On-Stage Question
o Evening Gown
Miss Contestants:
o Summer Wear (Be creative-No Swimwear)
o On-Stage Question
o Evening Gown
o Private Interview (5 minutes)
6. The pageant committee reserves the right to change the foregoing Rules and
Regulations as necessary at any time.
7. You are not allowed to leave the school after you have arrived and checked in for the
pageant. You are allowed one female family member in the dressing room to help you
prepare. Friends are not allowed in the dressing room until after the pageant is complete!
8. A completed entry form must be submitted with your headshot and a $20 entrance fee
by July 20, 2012.
9. All delegates must be at the Knox Middle School at 1pm the day of the pageant and
may wear casual clothing. Rehearsals will begin at 1:30pm.
