DEGREE OBJECTIVE — The purpose of this degree is to obtain proficiency in business and
administration, in order both to enhance a soldier’s military proficiency and to provide the academic
foundation for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution. This program is
designed for military students to allow the maximum credit in military experience (up to 40 semester
hours) and to provide the quickest pathway to an associate degree. It will transfer 100% into several

The Enlisted Education Program, part of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command's
(TRADOC) College of the American Soldier, is designed to expand existing civilian education choices
for entry-level Soldiers in CMFs 11 Infantry, 13 Field Artillery, 14 Air Defense Artillery, and 19 Armor to
provide them with degree options that will maximize college credit granted for military experience and
NCO training. Associate degrees designated as "Enlisted Education Program" support TRADOC’s
pentathlete concept (leadership, supervision, management, and project management skills).

                  Career NCO Degrees Program
                  Based on current versions of Army, training Coastline Community College will award credit based on two training pathways: 1) 28 SH if a Soldier has
                  completed Combat Basic Training and NCO Leadership Schools including US Army Sergeants Major (resident course) (AR-1408-0148), OR 2) 24
                  SH if a Soldier has completed Combat Basic Training and NCO Leadership Schools including US Army Sergeants Major Non-Resident Course (AR-
                  1408-0328). NCO Leadership Schools include Warrior Leader, Battle Staff, BNCOC Common Core, First Sergeant, and either US Army Sergeants
                  Major (resident course) (AR-1408-0148) or US Army Sergeants Major Non-Resident Course (AR-1408-0328). Actual credit awarded is based on a
                  review of the Soldier's AARTS transcript. Contact college POC for more information.

                  As a college with a Career NCO Degree,Coastline Community College will contact a Soldier selecting the degree and Coastline Community College
                  as his or her home college as soon as GoArmyEd notifies the college. The college will discuss how credits from military schools will apply to the
                  degree chosen by the Soldier and will advise the Soldier about which courses to take. Once the college has received a Soldier's AARTS transcript
                  and related educational information, the college will conduct a formal assessment of the Soldier's prior learning and will complete a SOCAD Student
                  Agreement in accordance with SOCAD policies and GoArmyEd portal requirements. This official college degree plan will become part of the Soldier's
                  GoArmyEd file.
                  Enlisted Education Program
                  Based on current versions of Army training, Coastline Community College will award credit based on 59-81% range of credit awarded for MOSs in
                  CMFs 11 Infantry, 13 Field Artillery, 14 Air Defense Artillery, and 19 Armor. For MOSs in CMFs 11 and 19, credit awards are for OSUT (One Station
                  Unit Training), Structured Self Development I and Warrior Leader. For MOSs in CMFs 13 and 14, credit awards are for Basic Combat Training, AIT
                  (Advanced Individual Training), Structured Self Development I and Warrior Leader. Actual credit awarded is based on a review of the Soldier's
                  AARTS transcript. Contact college POC for more information about credit awards for your MOS.

                  As a college with the Enlisted Education Program, Coastline Community College will contact a Soldier selecting the degree and Coastline
                  Community College as his or her home college as soon as GoArmyEd notifies the college. The college will discuss how credits from military schools
