									                   GWA User Enrollment Quick Reference Guide

Note: Make sure that your Supervisor has GWA access to approve your request and that you
know the modules and roles (see below) that you are trying to select before logging in to the
system.


For users who do not have a Treasury User Provisioning Service (UPS) ID and password.

   1. Please visit: https://www.gwa.fms.treas.gov/gwa.html and select Register in the top right
      corner.
   2. Follow the enrollment screens sequentially to get your user ID and password.
   ****If you can not search for your supervisor, that means he or she is not enrolled. You can
      not proceed until your supervisor has access to approve your request.

For users who already have a UPS ID and password, please visit
https://ups.fms.treas.gov/index.html and enter your user ID and password.

   1. Go to Manage My Application.
   2. Please verify that the supervisor assigned to your ID is correct before you update or add
       access. Select “Modify My Supervisor” and make any necessary changes.
   3. On the Treasury User Provisioning main screen click “Manage My Applications”. You
       will see a list of applications, please select “View” or “Add” next to GWA.
   4. For users adding GWA, please click “Add GWA Access” and proceed to number 8.
   5. To add additional GWA modules, click “Modify GWA User Access” then “Add
       Module/Role”.
   6. Select the modules and role you need from the drop down menus. Please wait for the
       screen to refresh after each selection.
   7. Leave the Agroup field blank.
   8. Type your Parent ALC or Account in the “Permissions” field.
   9. Select Add Module/Role for additional access.
   10. After all your selections have been made, click “Next” and then “Finish”.
   11. An email will be sent to your supervisor notifying them to approve your access request.
   12. Once your supervisor approves your access, FMS will notify you via email that your
       access is complete. You will be able to access GWA within approximately one week.

   NET (Non-expenditure transfers)
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
         2. AP = Agency Preparer
         3. AC = Agency Certifier
         4. AA = Agency All
   APROP (Appropriations)
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
   ACCTSTMT (Account Statement)
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
         2. GR = Government Reviewer
      CTA (Classification and Transactions Authority)
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
         2. AP = Agency Preparer
         3. AC = Agency Certifier
         4. AA = Agency All
      TDO Payments (replaces RFC Agency link)
         1. AV = Agency Viewer
         2. RFCV = RFC Viewer
      BPD (Borrowings from Treasury)
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
         2. AP = Agency Preparer
         3. AC = Agency Certifier
         4. AA = Agency All
      BPDR
         1. AR = Agency Reviewer
         2. AP = Agency Preparer

For current users who wish to update their demographics, please enter your user ID and
password at https://ups.fms.treas.gov/index.html
For FMS employees and ITIM users;
   1. From the Welcome Page, near the top there is a line that says “Please click here for
      password and demographic changes to your account”. Select the link labeled HERE.
   2. Select the link labeled Change Profile.
   3. From the list on the left side of the screen select the link labeled Contact.
   4. Here you may make changes to the address or phone number. Select OK, then select
      logoff from the upper right hand corner.


For non-FMS users:
   1. From the Welcome Page, select either Update My Information or Change My Password.
           a. To update personal information, on the next page you may update any of the
              empty boxes. Then click Next.
           b. To change your password, on the next page enter your GWA user ID, your current
              password, and the new password you would like to use. Then select Change
              Password.
