									Bambach, Selma
Selma Bambach, 89, of Filion, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2005, at Courtney
Manor in Bad Axe. She was born on December 29, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. She
married Nick Bambach on March 9, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1984.
She was a member of the Kinde Presbyterian Church and a member of the Women's
Association. She was formerly employed at Hamill Manufacturing and enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by one daughter, Joann Pavlik and her husband, William, of Prudenville;
three sons, Robert Bambach and his special friend, Diane DeRyckere, of Lake Orion,
Jack Bambach and his wife, Carol, of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Eugene Bambach and his
wife, Janet, of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Raymond Kolgek and his wife, Lottie, of
Sterling Heights; seven sisters, Sophia Balfour, of Rochester, Clara Sanborn and her
husband, Burt, of Tecumseh, Francis Murray, of Lakeland, Florida, Ann Protzman and
her husband, Steve, of Tavares, Florida, Helen Kurrtti, of Mecosta, Florence Schrader, of
Ubly, and Arlene Dailey, of Warren; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and
special friend, Ila Case, of Kinde. She was preceded in death by her parents; one
brother, Pete Brooks; and one daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bambach. Funeral services
will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2005, at the Kaufman Funeral Home in
Bad Axe. Officiating will be Elder Michael Gage of the Kinde Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery in Bad Axe. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today
or from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
