									Thank you for your enquiry regarding our vacancy for a part time Lunchtime Supervisor
to join our team at the Oldham Hulme Grammar Schools. Details of the Schools may be

The duties of the Lunchtime Supervisor are contained in the attached job specification
and the sort of person that we expect to fill the post is described in the person

Staff are paid monthly in arrears at a rate of £6.36 per hour, this equates to a full year
annual salary of £2,682 per annum based on 2 hours per day term time only. This pay is
subject to an annual review each year. Non teaching staff are entitled to pro rata of 37
days paid holiday each year which includes any entitlement to public holidays.

After three months support staff are eligible to join the non-teaching staff Career Average
Revalued Earnings defined benefit pension scheme and benefit from an employer’s
contribution (currently 10%) as long as they make a minimum employee’s contribution
based on their age. Staff are eligible to take advantage of the staff fee reduction
scheme which allows for up to 50% pro rata reduction in fees for pupils at the Schools.

Applicants should note that any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced
Criminal Records Bureau clearance and will include a three month probationary period.
Any offer of appointment will be made on the express understanding that the applicant is
medically fit for the work which the Schools require and that they will submit to a medical
examination at our expense by the Schools’ medical officer.
