Use this sample press release to promote the Zoomobile on your library letterhead. Insert
your information in the (ALL CAP) areas. The release should be sent to your local media
at least two weeks prior to the Zoomobile appearance at your library.

CITY, Wis – Kids will have their chance to “be creative” at the NEW Zoo “Zoomobile”
program at (TIME), (DATE), at the (YOUR LIBRARY, ADDRESS).
This event is presented in correlation with the state-wide Summer Reading Program.
This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is “Be Creative @ Your Library.” Every
year, the Summer Reading Program at area libraries provides incentives for kids to keep
their reading skills sharp while away from school.
Brad Hooyman, education and volunteer coordinator at the NEW Zoo in Suamico, will be
bringing the animals to the library. Hooyman is excited to team up with area libraries on
showing young readers the importance of being “green” and how it affects animals in the

will also learn some information on animals and reading and how those two things
correlate with each other.”
The “Zoomobile” is sponsored by the (YOUR LIBRARY) and the Nicolet Federated
Library System. It is geared toward children ages 3 to14. The program will incorporate
