DIRECTIONS TO LEARNING CENTRE FROM JUNCTION 5 – M65
Directions to the Learning Centre From M65 Motorway

Leave the M65 at Junction 5 (Shadsworth) and follow signs for ‘Blackburn’ and Town centre’. You will follow a straight road for approximately
one mile travelling through five roundabouts. The Royal Blackburn Hospital is the new building on your right hand side and there is a speed
camera on your left. Follow the road round as it bears right and you will see Kentucky Fried Chicken on your left hand side. Take the next
turning on your right and you are entering the hospital grounds at the old entrance. There is a pay and display car park on your left or you can
continue straight along road (do NOT bear right as the road does) and you will see The Learning Centre on your right hand side. You will arrive
at a barrier for Car Park J which will be free only for Induction day 1 August 2012. The car parking attendants in yellow vests will direct you to
appropriate car parking.

If you choose to park on Car Park J at any other time without a permit you will have to insert your card into the barrier reader. The card will be
read and the entry date and time will be recorded, the card will then be returned, when the card has been removed the entry barrier will be
raised to allow access. On exit, insert the card into the barrier reader. The card will be read again as above and will calculate the cost and
produce a receipt. When the card has been removed the exit barrier will raise to allow exit. Alternatively you can buy concession tickets from
the Car Parking Office.
