- Travel about 3 miles on the AA, up the huge hill and then exit onto 27 South / Alexandria.
- Turn right off of the Exit onto 27 South.
- Stay on this road for about 3 miles, passing Wal-Mart and Campbell County Middle School will be on the
Left. It is the old high school.
INFO FROM CAMPBELL COUNTY – My additions are in RED font

County Band Boosters.
Audio/Video Recording Cameras and recording equipment are permissible but please be respectful of those
around you by not blocking their view. A complimentary video of you performance will be provided to each
band immediately following the awards ceremony.

the seating area will be restricted once a band takes the field. We try to sit together as one large group, so get there early
to find you seat!
ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR THEIR SHOW SHIRTS WHEN NOT IN UNIFORM
All students must have their RED BAGS with them at all contests. Their marching shoes need
to be clean and with them at all times.

Make sure you have the following items in your bag.
1. 2 Pairs of Clean, LONG, PLAIN white socks (no stripes)
2. Plain White Underwear. No patterns or colors. You will be able to see patterns and colors through
the white pants and if you do not bring white underwear, then the box parents will make you change into them.

4. Band Show Shirt
5. Plain white t-shirt used only for when wearing the uniform.
6. Deodorant – Axe does not count!!
7. Girls will need things to pull back their hair...as well as boys with long hair.
Color Guard – Doug and Kara will explain Hair and Make-Up.
BAND CONTEST ETIQUETTE –Please keep in mind that you are representing our school and our band
at all times. Please do not talk badly about other bands....and please do not talk about our band’s
business with other groups. Please turn off all Cell Phones while watching bands perform. It is
important to clap in appropriate spots for all bands, but it is not appropriate to talk during
performances. Also, please do not try and enter the stands or leave the stands while a band is
performing. If this is your first competition you will find that these are fun events, but there are
definitely differences between band comps and football games. We need to support all of the bands
there. Please take time to read the article at the following link about appropriate etiquette and band
Awards Ceremony Information –
The band should wear their show shirts when not in uniform. The band stands together during the awards ceremony.
The students that are staying in uniform for the awards ceremony are the two drum majors (Jacob and Justin), the 3
Color Guard Soloists (Katie, Allie, and Jennie) and one percussionist determined by Greg.
Please bring $2 per person to join us at the trailers for dinner. We will be serving sub sandwiches and whatever is
donated that morning.
