REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 10, 2006

       Judge/Executive Harry L. Berry called the Hardin County Fiscal Court Meeting to order
and requested a roll call vote. Voting: King yes, Easter yes, Goodman yes, Crady yes, Judge
Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes.

           The invocation was given by Squire Easter.

           Squire Wiseman led the court in the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

           Judge Berry read a proclamation for Kentucky Archives Week in Hardin County.

      Judge Berry presented the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services Awards to
David Wilson, Timothy Gipson, John Conover and Robin Lewis.

           Charlie Caspar, Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, presented the Chamber Update.

      Tim Davis, Tim Davis and Associates, presented on the Detention Center Medical Costs
Update.

        Charlotte Jones presented the BRIDGES Annual Report. Ms. Jones presented a
Certificate of Appreciation to Carolyn Ritchie, County Treasurer.

           Judge Berry reported on the Hardin County Government United Way 2006 Campaign
results.

        King moved and Hay seconded to table first reading of Ordinance No. 246, Series 2006,
regulating smoking in public places and places of employment. Voting: Easter no, Goodman
yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman no, King yes.

       Hay moved and Wiseman seconded to approve the Road Department Committee
recommendations of accepting the following streets into the maintenance system and to install a
25 MPH speed limit for Sage Court and Camara Court. Voting: Goodman yes, Crady yes, Judge
Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes.

       King moved and Hay seconded to approve Resolution No. 2006-116 establishing “No
Parking” on Country Lane effective December 01, 2006. Voting: Crady yes, Judge Berry yes,
Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes, Goodman yes.

        Goodman moved and King seconded to approve the bid of Climate Control of $10,796.00
for installation of two roof top gas/electric units on Hardin County Historical Museum. Voting:
Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes,
Goodman yes, Crady yes.

       Jaggers moved and Wiseman seconded to approve Resolution No. 2006-115 authorizing
Judge/Executive Berry to sign Historic Glendale Community Enhancement Project Agreement.
Voting: Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes, Goodman
yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes.

       Jaggers moved and Wiseman seconded to approve the Homeland Security Grant for E-
911 equipment. Voting: Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Jaggers yes, Easter yes, Goodman
yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes.

      Crady moved and Jaggers seconded to approve Homeland Security Grant for mobile data
computers for the Sheriff’s Office. Voting: Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes,
Goodman yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes.

       Crady moved and King seconded to approve Resolution No. 2006-117 relating to E-911
personnel (Troy Williams and Michael Shannon). Voting: Wiseman yes, King yes, Easter yes,
Goodman yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes.

     Jaggers moved and Wiseman seconded to approve Resolution No. 2006-118 relating to
Ambulance personnel (Cheryl Richardson and Kerry Vowels). Voting: King yes, Easter yes,
Goodman yes, Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman
yes.
        Goodman moved and Hay seconded to approve Consent Agenda to include approving
payroll with payroll liability dated 10/06/06, magistrates, coroners and election officers salary
dated 10/10/06 with liability checks, employee benefit refunds, approve Claims Batch No. 04-
7010 and recurring batch numbers 03-7015 and 03-7099, approve Resolution No. 2006-119,
Budget Transfer Batch No. 04-4110, and Cash Transfer Journal Batch Numbers 04-4210 and 03-
4528, approve Treasurer’s Report for September 2006, approve Fiscal Court Minutes dated
10/03/06 and the Road Committee Minutes Dated 09/27/06. Voting: Easter yes, Goodman yes,
Crady yes, Judge Berry yes, Brandenburg yes, Jaggers yes, Hay yes, Wiseman yes, King yes.


        The meeting was adjourned, without objection, by Harry L. Berry, Judge/Executive
