Rogue DPS Spreadsheet
Description This spreadsheet simulates the theoretical DPS output of rogues in a raid setting, based on the inputs of gear, enchant, talents, and buff choices. It must be noted that theoretical DPS output and actual DPS output will vary for many reasons, often dependant on the fight in question. The main goal of this spreadsheet is to be a tool to help see how various talent/gear choices will affect your overall DPS. Assumptions 1. The calculations are done assuming a level 73 opponent, as in raid bosses. You can select to use an even level opponent on the Talents sheet

FAQ Q: How do I add new items to the gear drop-down lists? A: If you happen to be using an item that doesn't show up on the dropdown list, you have to unhide the sheet for that particular slot. to unhide a sheet, go to Format>Sheet>Unhide… (in Excel), and select the item slot you wish to add the item to. Then add in the name and stats to one of the blank rows, and it will now show up on the dropdown list. Q: What do I do about set bonuses?
A: Set bonuses are automatically selected. However, not every bonus is modelled in the sheet, look at the set bonus box on the gear sheet for mor Q: If I use hemorrhage, how is the damage from the debuff handled? A: First off, there is a check box at the bottom of the gear sheet to choose if you want to include the debuff. We assume that every charge is used and that the raid crit rate is about 30%. Also, armor is taken into account. Q: I am using mutilate, and it is telling me the optimal cycle is (for example) 3-5 SnD/4-5 Rupt. What does that mean? A: Well, this cycle means you should finish between 3 and 5 combo points with Slice and Dice and betwenn 4 and 5 combo points vor Rupture.

A: No, Envenom is not really a superior move (sometimes it can be about equal) to Eviscerate in the majority of situations and is not worth modelin Envenom was designed as a pvp move, not as a pve move, keep that in mind, I recommend only using it in pve against very high armor targets or as your target is within 10 seconds of dying. Known Issues: Sometimes, the most optimal cycle is not chosen by the cycle sheet because it calculates proc damage after figuring out which cycle to use. Vitality, Sinister Calling, and Deadliness do not always round off correctly to match in game values. Instructions - This page allows you to take the talents you want to use - On the right site there are a few Options where you can choose between a few options. - On the bottom there is the AEP (Agility Equivalence Points) calculation. You must have Macros activ to use this. This is a comparison between the stats. The base is Agility with the value 1. A lower value means that this stat is less worth than Agility. - The button "Save DPS" will save your actual DPS Value, so you can chance some Talents and make a comparison - At the top you can see your unbuffed and buffed DPS Value - Here you can select your Equip, Enchants, Gems, Race - On the right side you can enter the droplocations of your items (which Items should be shown) and here you must enter the Weapontype of your Mainhand and Offhand Weapon (only the choosen Weapontype will be shown in the dropdown). - You can Import/Export your Talents, Equip and Buffs by pressing the Import/Export buttons on the right. This will create a file with all important data. - At the bottom you can choose the Buffs you want to use in the calculation. - At the top you can see your unbuffed and buffed DPS Value - The "Optimum CP Usage" use is your personal Cycle. This means you make the highest DPS when you use this finisher. For example: - The button "Save DPS" will save your actual DPS Value, so you can chance some Equip, Buffs, Gems etc. and make a comparison - The copy buttons needs the save DPS buttons. When your actual DPS is saved you can switch your equip and then press copy. On the sheet Gear_Upgrades you now see the DPS increase of each item. - Pressing the Upgrade Button will search for all DPS Upgrades for this slot. You can see the Upgrades by hovering your mouse over the cell with the item. (Searching will take a little bit time) If there is no comment then there are no Upgrade. - Here you can compare your actual Gear with a other over the AEP - Choose your Gear in Gear_Buffs and press the AEP Button - Choose your Gear in the blue cells up. - Choose another Item in the blue cells below and look at the AEP - you can also copy your current gear by press the "Gear Copy"-Button and compare it to another complete Gear - Choose your gear in Gear_Buff - Use the "Save DPS" button - Swap item you want to compare
