           Test on Thursday Surat ‘Abasa (21-29) and the meaning of the Ayat

           Week-2: Test on Thursday Surat ‘Abasa(1-10) and the meaning of the Ayat
           Project: Write a report about the Day of Judgment, mention the signs of what
           will happen on that day, from Surat At-Takwir

           :H.W: Work book p. 20-25
            Spelling & Vocabulary Test on Friday (draught, dryness, place, friend, the
           second, trick, branch) + (Say the Truth even if it goes against yourself)
           Reading Test p.56 on Wednesday and Thursday
           Project: 1-Draw & write( from the lessons on p. 19 or 56 ) 2- Put the paper on the
           construction paper 3- Write your name and your grade on it, due on Wednesday

           Week-2: H.W: Write the lesson p.72, 73 Textbook due on Wednesday.
           Spelling &Vocabulary Test on Friday (Questions, answers, scholars, religion,
           human beings (mankind), youth, believers, suggestion, hard, Day of Judgment)
            Project: Make an Arabic story due on Wednesday ( see your note book for more
           information)

           Thursday (10/8): Test on Chapter 1: The Fertile Crescent.



           Tuesday (10/13): Begin Chapter 2: Judaism & Christianity. Homework: Page 61, #11.



           Thursday (10/15): Continue Chapter 2. Homework: Page 61, #12.

           8th Grade:

           Tuesday (10/6): Students will view a film based on World War I that was filmed just
           prior to World War II. Students will discuss how nonviolence was viewed at a time
           when Europe was in war. Homework: Read pages 258-268. Complete workbook pages
           69 and 70.

            Thursday (10/8): Introduction of the economic boom that occurred after World War I,
           and some of the disasters that occurred between 1925 and 1928. Homework: Read
           pages 269-273 and complete workbook pages 71 and 72.

           Tuesday (10/13): Introduction to the 18th Amendment. Homework: Workbook pages
           74-76.

            Thursday (10/15): To introduce the early growth of the entertainment industry and the
           arts. Students will go over the review questions for chapter 8. Test Tuesday.
Reminder   Oct 12th : Progress Report
           Oct 16th:Half day of school. School will dismiss at 12:00 noon.
