Homework: Page 61, #12. 8th Grade: Tuesday (10/6): Students will view a film based on World War I that was filmed just prior to World War II. Students will discuss how nonviolence was viewed at a time when Europe was in war. Homework: Read pages 258-268. Complete workbook pages 69 and 70. Thursday (10/8): Introduction of the economic boom that occurred after World War I, and some of the disasters that occurred between 1925 and 1928. Homework: Read pages 269-273 and complete workbook pages 71 and 72. Tuesday (10/13): Introduction to the 18th Amendment. Homework: Workbook pages 74-76. Thursday (10/15): To introduce the early growth of the entertainment industry and the arts. Students will go over the review questions for chapter 8. Test Tuesday. Reminder Oct 12th : Progress Report Oct 16th:Half day of school. School will dismiss at 12:00 noon.
