ACCESS MANAGEMENT PLAN REQUEST
APPLICATION FEE: $250.00
Ten (10) 24’ x 36” FOLDED and COLLATED blueline/blacklines of the access
management plan, and One (1) 11” x 17” reduction.
• .pdf and .dwg (AutoCAD 2005 compatible) copies of all plans formatted
and scaled to a 24” x 36” page size (each plan type should be its own file).
• .pdf copies of all other required submittal items including, but not limited to
signed and completed applications and letters of intent.

Application, filled out completely, and signed by both the applicant and the
SUBMITTAL DATE: Monday, by 12:00 Noon; (refer to the published Schedule for
Planning Applications for specific submittal dates).

Access Management Plan General Information and Checklist
Prior to any subdivision of property or approval of a site plan in any district other than a
single family or duplex residential district, an access management plan representing the
general site assessment of the property shall be approved by the Director of Planning.
(a) The access management plan shall include all the land that existed in
single ownership at the time of initial zoning, or at the time this provision
became effective (November 18, 1997), whichever is later.
(b) The access management plan shall include sufficient information to
adequately assess the functionality of the proposed subdivision and its
impact on surrounding properties and circulation systems, including but
not limited to:
Basic mapping details, such as site boundaries and dimensions,
site acreage, location map, north arrow, scale, title block, etc.;
Access to the site and interior site circulation;
Proposed lot layout;
Other items which may negatively impact adjacent property, such
as general parking arrangement, delivery truck/dock locations,
medians or traffic control devices, median breaks, and other
information as deemed necessary by the Director of Planning.
(c) The access management plan shall include a standard notation stating the
following: “The final location of mutual access and fire lane easements,
including median openings, will be determined through the site plan and
