summoned at once, but it was too late. He came at age of 16 years to
Rochester, Michigan. He then went to Yale. He was employed in the
flax mill. In 1891 he came to Pigeon. For a number of years he was the
flax mill manager. In 1901 he went into partnership with John J.
Campbell, and after 6 years he purchased Campbell’s interest. He was
still in the business at his death. Harold became a partner the last few
years. He was postmaster of Pigeon from 1923 to 1929. (Large article.

N.Y. She engaged in her chosen profession. She traveled extensively
in Europe. She married James. They lived in Nova Scotia.

as postmaster of Caseville from 1946 to 1954. He was the father of 6
small children.
