belongings to Neuchatel;
SEA OR AIR
To maximize our shipping and cost requirements, it is imperative that all shipments are
delivered to AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL’S warehouse for co-ordination with
the other shipments so they may all travel as “one” in the container. This method is
beneficial to all, as everyone shares in the cost of the ocean freight. All student
shipments will arrive at the same time, again the economics are in your favor.
SEA TRANSPORT DEADLINE FOR DELIVERY TO AMJ CAMPBELL
We are allowing a 3 – day window for receiving shipments at our warehouse:

WITH THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY BEING:

** THIS IS IMPERATIVE AND THERE IS NO DEVIATION TO THE ABOVE.
SHOULD ANY SHIPMENTS BE RECEIVED AFTER THE DEADLINE…. THEY
WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED VIA AIR( AIR RATES TO APPLY) TO
MEET THE DELIVERY DATE. IF THE SHIPMENT DOES NOT GO VIA AIR
AT THIS POINT – THE GOODS WILL NOT ARRIVE UNTIL OCTOBER 2011.
Unless you feel it is absolutely necessary, we recommend that air shipping be avoided.
Air is the most expensive method of transport and is charged at the benefit of the airline.
Either weight or volume is chargeable; which ever is most beneficial to the airline.
Should you wish to send your goods via air, please package all items in lighter materials,
such as “sturdy” boxes. AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL will place all items in
“approved” air containers for transit. ITEMS CANNOT BE SHIPPED AS IS!

Each student has been given a maximum allowance that is equivalent to the following:
20 cubic feet OR 140 pounds
The volumes stated above would be strictly reserved for immediate personal belongings.
To give you a “visual” idea or to comprehend the size of the type of shipment…. please
picture a “wing back” chair. The amount of goods that would fit into this size (if put in a
cube) would be an approximate guess of volume or size. Please see the diagrams at the
end of the package for reference purposes only. These diagrams are only an
approximation. Typically, the dimensions are approximately 3ft x 2ft x 3ft or 43in x 29in
x 34 in.
All costs have been determined based on the allowances provided by the College and are
based on exporting from AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL’S warehouse in
Mississauga, Ontario to your pension home in Neuchatel, Switzerland, as follows:
SEA SHIPMENT C $ 400.00 PER SHIPMENT
All Shipments will be measured prior to loading of the container. Measurements will be
recorded and pricing will be determined based on final measurements.
AIR SHIPMENT C $ 1025.00 PER SHIPMENT
BASED ON A MINIMUM OF 5 STUDENTS SHIPPING VIA AIR

CUBIC FOOT OVER THE 20 CUBIC FOOT ALLOWANCE. (BASED ON
MINIMUM OF 5 STUDENTS TRANSPORTING VIA AIR- IF LESS THAN 5
STUDENTS PRICING WILL INCREASE)
*** ALL SKIS / SNOWBOARDS WILL BE MEASURED ON AN INDIVIDUAL
BASIS FOR CUBIC FOOTAGE AND CHARGED ACCORDINGLY.

We offer two rates:
AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL will provide full replacement coverage for the
items being shipped. This coverage is for both loss and damage of any kind to the
shipment, however, an itemized valued list of contents must be completed in order to
qualify for the preferred rate of::
2.25% OF THE TOTAL DECLARED VALUE
** PLEASE COMPLETE A SEPARATE “ITEMIZED” LISTING OF ALL
GOODS BEING SHIPPED HIGHLIGHTING THE REPLACEMENT VALUES
FOR EACH ITEM. THIS LISTING SHOULD ACCOMPANY YOUR SHIPMENT

Insurance requests for full replacement coverage for the items being shipped
without an itemized valued list of contents, will only be covered for TOTAL LOSS
COVERAGE, WITH A PREFERRED RATE OF:
1.5% OF THE TOTAL DECLARED VALUE
The insurance rates quoted above are IN ADDITION to the transportation rates
quoted and will be charged accordingly.
LOCAL PICK UPS FOR SEA SHIPMENT
GREATER TORONTO AREA:
AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL will be pleased to offer local pick ups in the
“greater Toronto area”. Depending on the demand for these pick-ups we will designate
two days (one east and the other west of Toronto) the week of JULY 25, 2011.
Confirmation of these dates are yet to be determined, as the number of shipments to be
picked up has not been determined. The pick up charge would be C$ 95.00 – a flat fee
for these pick-ups – THIS AMOUNT IS IN ADDITION TO THE SHIPPING FEE --
the shipments will be brought back to our warehouse for measuring and to determine the
exact volume/weight and whether or not the shipment is over the allowance.
AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL WILL INVOICE THE HOME ADDRESS/
CHARGE CREDIT CARD FOR THIS SERVICE AS WELL AS THE
TRANSPORTATION TO NEUCHATEL.
SHIPMENTS TO AMJ FROM WITHIN CANADA BUT OUTSIDE THE
AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL recommends that the transportation of
shipments from outside the Toronto area, be booked through a national courier
company or bus/ parcel express VIA Greyhound to meet the required deadline
dates as outlined. This is the most cost effective option with guaranteed delivery
The destination agent, Wittwer, will be performing all services in Neuchatel.
ALL DELIVERIES TO THE PENSION HOME HAVE BEEN SET UP FOR:
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH AND 15TH, 2011.
The service we provide DOES NOT ALLOW for AMJ CAMPBELL
INTERNATIONAL to package your items. All items are to be packaged by the
students/owner of the goods.
Packing for Sea Transport
The most effective material for packaging your goods would be to use typical metal
shipping trunks; as they allow maximum protection to your goods. Weight is not a factor
when shipping via sea, only the volume is accounted for --- (or amount of space taken
up). Alternatively, Rubbermaid Bins or something similar can be utilized. It is imperative
to wrap any breakable items in a tissue like paper to secure them on their own. Your
belongings should be packed “tightly” as it is best to lessen the movement of the
belongings. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR NAME IS AFFIXED TO EACH
CONTAINER AS WELL AS IDENTIFY NO. OF TRUNKS/BINS/BAGS BEING

INVENTORY OF ITEMS
Due to increased worldwide security, it is imperative that each student complete a
listing of the items that have been packed in each box / container. We have attached a
form that should be used and should accompany each shipment. This form may also
be used for insurance purposes and therefore values should be deemed beside each
item. AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL will insure your goods based on the
values placed per item. Please note that this form will also serve as your inventory
for customs purposes. The student should also retain a copy for his/her records.
INVENTORY LISTING IS AVAILABLE AT THE END OF THE PACKAGE.
Skis/Snowboards These should be packed in ski bags or a similar type of protection
to go with your shipment. The soft sided ski bags allow the crews to load the skis in
smaller spaces in the container maximizing space. Hard cover ski cases provide the
maximum in protection, however, please be aware the entire “outer” area is measured
Computers/ Electronic Equipment - These types of items should be packaged in the
“original” carton, where possible. The most effective type of transportation
protection for these items is a “form-fitting product” around the items, such as
styrofoam. In the event that you do not have the original styrofoam pieces, please
ensure that many layers of wrapping/packing material is used for protection.
These items should be packed “between” layers of clothing in your trunk.
Bicycles - Should be streamlined as much as possible - bicycles should be prepared
for packaging by moving the handle bars so that they are parallel to the bicycle frame
and inverting the pedals. If the bicycle is being delivered to any of our warehouse
locations, AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL can provide a “bicycle type” carton
or wrap for protection in transit. This type of service would constitute an additional
charge of C$35.00 should it be requested.
RESTRICTIONS ON EXPORTED GOODS TO SWITZERLAND
Drugs and narcotics are prohibited. There are also restrictions on the importation
of food. Please do not pack any food items into your shipments.
PAYMENT FOR TRANSIT
AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL WILL ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS
We have included a credit card authorization form for completion
PERSONAL CHEQUES OR CASH ARE ALSO ACCEPTED
DROPPED OFF SHIPMENTS
All shipments that are dropped off at the AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL
facility in Mississauga will be measured upon arrival and payment is due at the time
of drop off.
SHIPMENTS PICKED UP IN GTA BY AMJ/ OR DELIVERED BY
All shipments that are picked up by AMJ CAMPBELL INTERNATIONAL or
shipments that arrive by alternate methods of transport will be measured upon
arrival of the shipment. All volumes will be recorded and invoiced to the home/
charged to the credit card.
