We are currently seeking an experienced EPICOR Programmer/Analyst, who will join our Cary, NC Corporate
The Programmer/Analyst should have 4 or more years of experience working with EPICOR.
This analyst will assist in the identification of potential solutions to business problems through
the use of user interface, analytical skills, integrated tools, and business knowledge using
prescribed EPICOR supported technologies. The Programmer/Analyst will work with the IT
team and business partners throughout the organization to develop and implement features for a
new ERP System (EPICOR) being implemented. The successful candidate must be versatile,
creative, and team-oriented, and possess extensive experience in EPICOR technologies.
4 to 6+ years experience as a software developer, building production applications
2+ years experience as a programmer/analyst on EPICOR using BAQ, BAM, BPM, Service Connect,
DMT, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Dashboards, Customization, Personalization, Styling & Themes,
Configuration and EPICOR’s SDK. IDEALLY NEED SOME ONE WITH EPICOR VERSION 9.05 BUT
ATLEAST EPICOR VERSION 8 IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR THE CANDIDATE TO BE
QUALIFIED FOR THIS POSITION.
4+ years experience with relational databases
Qualified Candidate will act as an Internal Subject Matter Expert with EPICOR Programming and will
train team members on EPICOR.
2+ years experience in Progress OpenEdge ABL
2+ years developing products for Microsoft Windows and/or web-based applications using .NET
Understanding of SharePoint 2010 and or MOSS 2007
Experience with manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Excellent overall communication skills, especially when explaining and sharing technical
requirements and information with end-users.
Minimum travel may be required for project implementation and support of new software.
Gather business requirements, business process flows in designing and preparing new
systems/solutions. Define modifications to existing systems in order to meet internal and
external user requirements.
Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software solutions using full software development
lifecycle project (SDLC) activities.
Provide business knowledge to aid other team members. Mentor programmers/developers in
architecture, standards, best practices and approaches within the technical infrastructure.
Perform analysis on business problems and requirements to determine source and develop
options/alternatives. Make recommendations among alternatives. Implement
recommendations, or coordinates with others when assigned.
Manage end-user training activities for existing and new software applications.
Ensure viability of systems for meetings business needs.
Coordinate and/or conduct acceptance testing.
Create and update technical and functional documentation.
Develop and implement Crystal reports and SQL Server reports within EPICOR.
Develop, follow and enforce technical guidelines and processes, such as coding standards.
Develop applications using Microsoft technologies and Progress OpenEdge ABL.
Write technical documentation and support documentation for the delivered application
Support and maintain existing base of software, including implementation of fixes and
