Overall Status: Project is active and on track Schedule Performance: Information Architecture completion was delayed by approximately one month. This was mitigated by managing wireframe development concurrently, and it appears that the overall schedule will not be impacted. Status set to yellow pending successful initiation of design phase by scheduled date. Budget Performance: Funding secured: project within budget Project Risks: • Web Program budget is in question – potential impacts on ability to implement IA and designs • Alignment of project deliverables with WCMS requirement dates still pending • Ensuring UCSC team can complete reviews within planned schedule

Accomplishments Since Last Report: • • • • • Information architecture reviews nearly complete – pending final acceptance by project sponsor (as of 8/31) Wireframe creation and reviews complete, including incorporation of current information architecture “Enjoy the View” proof of design concept created and reviewed by UCSC Design work underway, initial design review scheduled for 9/30 Consultant schedule updated to accommodate slippage in information architecture work (completion date remains in early December)

Key Issues and Resolutions • • Web Program budget – a pending request for additional campus funding remains in question. This issue has potential impacts on the implementation of IA and designs, but these remain both indirect and some time off. WCMS schedule – the WCMS project has identified a technology platform for the new WCMS (Hannon Hill Cascade Server), and has initiated Phase 2 planning. Once complete, the two project schedules will need to be reviewed for alignment. Initial conversations between project managers scheduled for September. UCSC team reviews – identifying and finalizing the right set of campus reviewers is one of the most sensitive issues that this project faces. This is an ongoing theme in project planning discussions. There has been some slippage in the schedule resulting from additional stakeholder reviews requested by UCSC. To date, these have not impacted the overall project schedule, but there is a risk that these adjustments will require a Information Technology Services v1.0
