MS/HS Principal Report for the Board of Education September 2009 Homecoming 2009 Homecoming this year is the week of October 5 thru the 10th. The parade will be at 6:15 on Thursday followed by Skit Night and the Bon Fire at City Park. The homecoming dance is in the high school gym Saturday night from 8 pm to 11 pm. The theme for the year is cartoons. 7th Grade Wildcat State Park Trip The 7th grade class will be taking their annual overnight trip to Wildcat State Park on Thursday, October 1st and Friday, October 2nd. The class cooks, day and night hikes, works with GPS and participates in other outdoor activities. Student Council Election Ryan Frye has been elected Student Council President last week Thursday. Kalli Zmolek was the other candidate. Foreign Exchange Students Royall High School will host five foreign exchange students this year. Finnja Derkewitz, Annamarjie Ivankoe and John Winter from Germany, Barna Bartos from Hungary and Jose Alday Galan from Mexico. Football Junior High Football s first season is off to a great start. They are 1-0-1. Our varsity ended their 39 game losing streak with a win over Riverdale in week one.
