If time allows, he will also hear a few confes-
sions before the 5:30 Sunday Mass. At St Ber-
nards confessions will be heard at approxi- The Exaltation of the Cross
mately 11:30am “Lord! Thou hast drawn all things unto thee!
That which was veiled under types and shadows
in the one Jewish Temple, is hailed by the love of
all peoples in full and open worship. There is
now a higher order of Levites, a more honorable
rank of elders, a Priesthood with a holier anoint-
ing. thy Cross is a well of blessings for all, and a
cause of thanksgiving for all. Thereby for them
that believe in thee, weakness is turned into
strength, shame into glory, and death into life.
The changing ordinance of divers carnal sacri-
fices is gone; the one oblation of thy Body and
Blood fulfills them all. For Thou art the Very Pas-
chal Lamb, Who take away the sins of the world,
and art in thyself all offerings finished. And even
as Thou art the One Sacrifice Which takes the
place of all sacrifices, so may thy kingdom be
one kingdom established over all peoples.”

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (Fra-
ternitas Sacerdotalis Sancti Petri) is a Soci-
ety of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right es-
tablished by Pope John Paul II in 1988 with
a two-fold mission; The formation of priests
in the traditional Liturgy and Spirituality of
the Latin Church, and the deployment of
those priests in service to the faithful who
wish to worship according to the Extraordi-
nary Form of the Roman Rite (the Triden-
tine Mass according to the Misale Romanum
of 1962). The Fraternity now has 208 priests
serving 167 apostolates in 97 dioceses in
Europe, North America, Australia, and Af-
rica.
