CBPA COMPUTER LAB CLASS RULES & REGULATIONS 1. No food or drinks allowed in the lab. 2. Please check if all computer hardware is in place at the beginning and also again at the end of the class. If something is missing or seems suspicious, please contact Kaichun (Kathy) Wang (Lab Coordinator) immediately at kawang@kean.edu and/or 908-737-4173. Or if she is not there, contact Campus Police at 908-737-4800. 3. If students are printing during class, only 10-15 pages per student are allowed per day. If more than 10-15 pages, instructor needs to give an advance notice to Lab Coordinator (Kathy Wang, W401B, 908-737-4173). If it will be for the entire semester, please tell the Lab Coordinator before the semester and describe the reason you need more than 10-15 pages per student and also what course it is. 4. If you have received a key and alarm code for a lab, please set the alarm code and lock the door EACH time you end class. All students must be out of the classroom before you leave. The lab assistant assigned will also be checking before and after each class period. If you have received a key, the key must be returned to Lab Coordinator at the end of the semester. 5. If you have NOT received a key, you will take responsibility to inform a lab assistant in another lab to set the alarm and lock the lab you were using. For example, if your class is a 7:50-10:30PM class, the lab assistant will open the lab 10 minutes before each session. The lab assistant will also come when the class period is assigned to end, for example 10:30PM. If your class finishes before the assigned time, please take responsibility to inform the lab assistant so he/she can lock and close the door. 6. If you plan on canceling your class for a session, please inform the Lab Coordinator in advance via e-mail or phone, so we know not to open the lab for that session.
