of rare human disorders.
Managed advancement of a major project, Morquio Syndrome type A, from an exploratory
stage to the pre-clinical phase. Developed a set of standard analytical procedures to monitor the
enzymatic activity, production levels and glycoprotein structure of N-acetylgalactosamine-6
sulfatase (GALNS), the enzyme deficient in patients with Morquio Syndrome type A. Provided
detailed technical documentation to downstream processing, manufacturing and quality
    control.
