         What is a TSUNAMI?
• A series of waves
• Happens in lakes or in
  the ocean
• A big wall of water
• The first wave is
  usually smaller
• It crashes hard against
  the shore

          How Do Tsunamis Form?
• Faults make earthquakes and
  earthquakes make tsunamis

• By earthquakes and volcanoes

• By falling rocks (from cliffs)

• Tsunamis are very dangerous

• Tsunamis destroy everything

             floods?

 Why is the Water warm in some
   places and cold in others?
• Convection currents
• Magma currents in
  mantle
• Magma moves in a
  pattern
• Because heat
