     Tuskegee Airmen Visit
Michael Harvey and Folsade Wilson are interning with Sankofa
  Heal Project. The purpose of this project is to raise awareness
 among adolescent boys and girls about healthy eating habits and
physical activities. HMS is very excited about the new partnership.


     The School Health Connection
           Wellness Program
   At Warren Easton Charter High
              School
   Zavia Collins is interning under the director of the School
  Wellness Program Coordinator to develop health promotion
programming and will support the implementation of Fuel Up to
                         Play 60 activities
  and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation Healthy Schools
                            Programs

   Topic: Mock Research Presentation by Teri Graham
  “Understanding Health for Black Women: The Stress-
  Support-Distress Process across Age for Black Women”
Teri will present the research that she and her colleagues worked
                      on in the fall semester.
 Ms. Graham would like to get feedback from her department
            before she officially presents her research
 at the Southern Sociological Society Conference on March 22,
                               2012.
