Accelerated Reader Code of Conduct

							              Accelerated Reader Code of Conduct

The purpose of the Accelerated Reader Program is to
encourage reading and improve reading skills. With this in
mind, students are expected to follow the rules described
below.




   1. Students are required to take test only on books they have read or that
      someone has read to them.

   2. Students are required to read all books and not just watch a movie.

   3. Students may not use Cliff notes, classic comic books, videos, or abridged
      versions of the book to try to pass the test.

   4. Students may only test for themselves.

   5. Students may not discuss AR questions or answers with other students.

Consequences

Students who break the rules will face the following consequences:

   1. The test or tests involved in the cheating incident will receive a score of “0”.
   2. The student will not be able to earn any rewards in the AR program for the
      remainder of the school year.
