NEW NUCLEAR WEAPON RULES

Washington, DC – In a stunning and perplexing move that played into the stereotype
of a weak-kneed naive appeaser, President Barack Obama introduced far-reaching and
radical new rules regarding the use of nuclear weapons.
The new policy placed tight restrictions on the use and deployment of nuclear weapons
in the event of an attack from another nation, a rogue state, or an independent entity.
According to the Nuclear Posture Review, the strategy ” renounces the development of
any new nuclear weapons, overruling the initial position of his own defense secretary.”
However, it goes much further than that, stating that the U.S. will not retaliate with a
nuclear strike in the event of a biological or chemical attack, including a crippling
cyberattack, as long as the country is a “nonnuclear state not in violation of the Nuclear
The decision was met by mainstream America with somewhat shocked skepticism and
“It’s insane,” one national security analyst said. “Here we have the ‘leader’ of the Free
World, explicitly laying out conditions whereby our enemies may attack us without fear
of a nuclear reprisal. I mean, it’s sick.”
Obama’s foreign policy handling has come under fire, most recently for his amateurish
treatment of the Israeli Prime Minister and the Dali Lama, which many critics called
undiplomatic and unbecoming for a President.
However, some critics alleged that his actions on national defense left the nation
defenseless and were inviting the next attack on the homeland.
“He is telegraphing weakness,” one military official remarked. “Nations like Russia,
China, Venezuela and others see his actions and see an easy mark. He might as well be
opening the gates.”
