I drafted and translated letters, contracts, leases and wills from and into French in order to communicate with
clients in the UK as well as French professionals. I spoke with French Solicitors and Council Houses on behalf of
clients to obtain information about the process of purchasing of French property, challenging both my legal
and language skills. I took part in client meetings which exposed me to the types of cases the firm are
instructed upon, the advisory process and the structure of the fee process. I helped to prepare case files which
gave me an insight into the wide range of legal scenarios that can arise following sale, acquisition, death or

Teacher of LLB Public Law to French University students in the second year of their French Law degree as part
of a joint degree programme with The University of Kent; I planned the structure of the semester to make sure
that all lectures and seminars are completed on time and within the deadlines enforced by Kent; I delivered
lectures and seminars to students. I was also required to set and mark my own examinations and essays to
assess my students.

I planned individual lessons on a weekly basis and delivered them to a class in a clear manner incorporating
knowledge of the Law involved and of the English Language.
