Add to Favorites

The system exercises you have completed provide an example of the most basic form of the
“Favorites” functionality. Once you have located a given catalog item in the Marketplace, you

can simply click the icon in the “add to Favorites” column.

A pop-up box is generated that shows your default “My Favorites” list.

 “Edit Selected Names” is an optional field that allows you to enter a more easily remembered
name for a given item. The default is the description of the item as listed in the catalog.
Note: By changing this field you do not affect the database in any way, this field is only to
create a “nickname” for your use.

 “Quantity” is an optional field in which you can enter the quantity of this item you most
frequently order. The default is “1”. Note: This quantity can always be edited once you add
a favorites item to your Marketplace shopping cart.

 After clicking [Submit] you will see a message indicating that your, “Favorite product has
    been added successfully”

 By clicking on the “Favorites” tab at the top of the Search Box, you can confirm that
this item has been added to your “My Favorites” folder.

 To add an item from Favorites to your cart, highlight the desired item and click [Add to
        Current Cart].

Note: You can create and name an unlimited number of favorites lists. The drop-down
arrow to the right of the folder field allows you to see any additional listings as
                added.

In addition to your personal lists of favorites, you will also be able to view/access
listings of University Favorites, including “Laboratory Supplies – Top 20 Buys”,
and “Office Supplies – Top 20 Buys”.

folder (hide the contents), simply click the icon again.

 Item or supplier details can be viewed by clicking on the specific product or supplier in the
    list.

 The price listed is a price estimate. This is the price at the time the item was added to
favorites. Product information is updated automatically when you add an item to your
Marketplace cart, using the [Select] checkbox and the [Add to Current Cart] button.

o Tip: You can add the entire contents of a favorites list by
 Clicking [Select] checkbox next to the folder name, then

database, the information for these items cannot be updated.
“Punchout” items should not be added to your favorites lists.
