Chicago Chapter of the
American Payroll Association
July 26, 2011
The IL Statewide Committee is excited announce that the 18th Annual Illinois Statewide Payroll Conference
will be held on October 7, 2011 at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville, Lisle Illinois. This year, the Committee, who is
made up of members from both the Chicago and Fox Valley APA Chapters, will jointly be hosting this
Conference. The IL Statewide Payroll Conference offers valuable educational opportunities for payroll
professionals as well as marketing opportunities for organizations that support the payroll industry.
The Statewide Committee recognizes that Vendor involvement is one of the key elements in our Conference.
We are anticipating 100 attendees for this event. Our attendees provide a lot of feedback on how much they
look forward to meeting with the Vendors at the Conference.
In the past we have had a multiple-day event, but this year it was necessary to change our event format to a
one-day meeting. Next year we plan to go back to the multiple-day event format. The conference will offer
attendees the opportunity to participate in 5 sessions, a luncheon with speaker, a Vendor Showcase, Closing
and a Post Conference Networking event. In order to maximize the opportunity for Vendors to have access to
attendees, we have structured Vendor Showcase activities to take place during the afternoon of our
Conference. The 18th Annual IL Statewide Payroll Conference provides a great opportunity for you to increase
your firm’s visibility and provides a venue to meet current and potential customers to promote your products
We wish to extend an invitation to you to register to participate in the Vendor Showcase activities at the 18th
Annual IL Statewide Payroll Conference! The Vendor Registration Form that has been provided as a separate
document. Please complete this form and return it by September 16, 2011 Deadline. The Registration Form
outlines the benefits Vendors receive for participating in our Vendor Showcase activities and a Vendor
Conference Schedule to provide you a view of the time commitment.
Thank you for your continued support of the IL Statewide Payroll Conference and the APA Chapters that work
to hold these events. We look forward to your participation in the Illinois Statewide Payroll Conference. If you
have any questions, please contact Paula Black at (630) 879-6353.
