   He is also my Judge
           What is Jesus doing now?
   He is in Heaven
   Judging the World
   Everybody is being
    judged

 “Jesus was ordained by
 God to be Judge of the
 living and the dead.”
 Acts 10:42

  Faithful and True and in
 righteousness He judges

  Revelation 19:11
    When will the Judgment be?
   It takes place in the last days
   It started in 1844
   Judgment takes place in heaven

“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give
  glory to Him,
 For the hour of His judgment has come; and
  worship Him who made heaven and earth,
  the sea and springs of water.” Rev 14:7

     What does God use to judge?
   God uses the 10
    commandments
   The 10
    commandments are
    called
   The law of liberty

“ So speak and so do as
  those who will be
  judged by the law of
  liberty.” James 2:12
           Does God have records?
   God knows everything we have ever
    done
   Good things and bad things
   They are written in books
   There is a Book of Life
   Jesus writes our names in that book

    “And I saw the dead, small and
     great, standing before God and the
     books were opened. And another
     book was opened which is the book
     of life. And the dead were judged
     according to their works by the
     things which were written in in
     books.”
                             Rev 20:12
 What about the things we say?
   Yes, every word we say
   Even the secret things we do
“But I say to you that for every idle word men may
  speak, they will give an account of it in the day of
  judgment.”
                                Matthew 12:36
“For God will bring every work into judgment,
  including every secret thing, whether it is good or
  whether it is evil.”
                                Ecclesiastes 12:14
      What can I do about my sins?
   Ask God to forgive you
   Tell God you are sorry
   Turn away from doing wrong
   God will give you strength
   To stop doing wrong

“If we confess our sins, He is
   faithful and just to forgive us
   our sins and to cleanse us
   from all unrighteousness.” 1
   John 1:9
                      What else?
 Turn away from wickedness
 Give back stolen things

 Walk in God’s law

 Stop doing bad things

“Again, when I say to the wicked, You will surely die.
  If he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and
  right….None of his sins …shall be remembered against
  him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely
  live.” Ezekiel 33:14, 16
      Will my good deeds save me?
   No, good works will never save me
   But a saved person will do good works
   We are saved by believing in Jesus

“Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified
  in His sight…” Romans 3:20
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,
  you and your household.” Acts 16:31
     Does God like punishing us?

   No , God does not enjoy punishing anyone
   He wants us to turn around
   And live with Him forever

“Say to them: As I live, says the Lord God, I have no
  pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked
  turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil
  ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?”
                                   Ezekiel 33:11
          Will you turn around?
   And turn to Jesus
   And let Him clean you up
   And let Jesus live in your heart
   He will make you a very happy person
