Hall Hire:
 Hire of the main hall is $200.
   Sessional hire is $65 for three hours maximum usage.

Kitchen Hire:
   Full hire of the kitchen facility is $200, includes cutlery, crockery, table cloths, salt &
    pepper shakers.
   Partial hire of the kitchen facility is $65 - includes day to day equipment only - other
    equipment is locked away.
   Cutlery and crockery available for 100 guests – it is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange for
    additional cutlery or crockery if required.
   If outside caterers use the kitchen it must be left in a clean and tidy state with all
    equipment accounted for before the return of the $100 bond.
   No crockery or other kitchen equipment is to be removed from the clubhouse for any
   The kitchen will remain locked if not hired.
   No spit roast cooking is to take place inside the facility or near the outside of the building.
   Washing of the table cloths is the hirer’s responsibility.

 A bond of $100 payable by all hirers of the facility.
 Booking confirmation will not occur until the $100 bond is paid.
   In addition to the bond, the hire fee is payable at least one week prior to the event.
   The bond is returned after satisfactory inspection of the clubhouse and all equipment is
    accounted for.
   Refund of your bond due to cancellation of the booking is at the discretion of the Ararat
    Bowling Club Executive Committee.

Ararat Bowling Club Financial Members:
   For personal functions only the hire charges for Ararat Bowling Club financial members is
    50% of the charges listed with the exception of the liquor license, which is $50.

   Access is available to the clubroom by negotiation with Jim Dunn or Peter Paterson.

 Tables and chairs are available to cater for 100 people.
   It is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange for additional tables and chairs if required.
   The maximum number of people allowable is 150.
   The removal of photos or shields or covering of fire extinguishers is strictly forbidden.
   No items are to be pinned or taped to the walls of the clubroom.

 It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that entertainment such as DJ’s or bands
   produce evidence of their public liability insurance with evidence of this provided to Jim
   Dunn or Peter Paterson prior to the function.
 The Ararat Bowling Club’s insurance policy does not cover liability for

   Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at bar prices – STRICTLY NO BYO
   The hirer is required to advise Peter Paterson of the preferred beverages one (1) week
    prior to your event.
   Ararat Bowling Club will provide the bar staff.
   The cost of the liquor license to the hirer is $50.

 The carpet is to be cleaned and vacuumed by the hirer and left clean by 10:00am the
   following morning.
 The timber floor in the facility is to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following
   The toilets floors are to be mopped and left clean by 10:00am the following morning.
   Hot water is to be used for mopping.
   Strictly no detergents are to be used on the polished floor.
   If you require the club to clean the floor the cost of this must be negotiated with Herbie
    Bourke prior to the event.
