Crews have been cutting and laying pipe, tearing down and
putting up new fences and adding new animal pens as part of
the rebuilding project. These pens will hold more than twice
as many animals, up from 9 to 21. Chief Joe Costa oversaw
the project along with Capt. J. Hartgraves. Special recognition
goes to Lt. Paul Patterson Deputy Frank Lemaire and Deputy
Paul Stroud for the efforts in upgrading and completing this
massive project.

The facility was in serious need of repairs and upgrades and
much of the work was completed with donations and
volunteer labor from inmates from the state jail facility. We
are so grateful for the materials that were donated. The work
done on the facility is around $150,000 dollars but again it
was all accomplished with no cost to taxpayers.
