Week 3-Objective 2:
When provided with five principles of effective adult learning on the class Wiki, the WIC nutrition educator will construct
two examples of learning activities that supports two adult learning principles using the WIC Nutrition Facilitated
Learning Session Chart.

Adults need:

    to be relevant to our lives

Instructions:

1. Watch 5 minute movie “ABC’s of Adult Learning”. Use Week 1 and 2 lessons and the class wiki as a resource to assist
you with completing the WIC Nutrition Facilitated Learning Session chart below. Class wiki is available at:
http://wicnutritioneducation-region8-scdhec.wikispaces.com/

2. Complete the chart and return as an e-mail attachment to Carolyn Jenkins at jenkincl@dhec.sc.gov

3. You will receive feedback within one working day about the learning activities you constructed. You will use the
feedback to make additions or changes prior to re-submitting to be posted on the class wiki.
