							           Materials Needed For Grade 7 and Not Supplied by the School




The seventh grade teams use a system based on four colors for student binders.
From past experience, we have found this helps to keep the students organized.
The binder system is as follows:

-Three 1 inch 3-ring binders (with inside pockets) :One RED for Math, One BLUE for
ELA and One BLACK for Social Studies

-One 1 1/2 inch GREEN 3-ring binder for Science (with inside pockets)

-A supply of 3-hole punched white lined paper
-Four sets of tab dividers (One set for each binder)
-A package of gummed reinforcements for 3-ring binder

Also needed are:
A supply of pencils, erasers, and black/blue pens for the school year
A set of colored pencils
Colored pens for classroom correcting
Thin black “Sharpie” marker
A ruler showing metric and standard measurements
Protractor
Scissors
Glue sticks
White out
Highlighters
A pencil case for supplies (soft type with zipper)
One combination lock for locker (optional)
Book covers for all textbooks (4) (Stretchable covers work best)
Calculator-scientific, if possible

PLEASE NOTE: Many of these materials will need to be replaced throughout the

school year.
