SAFETY IN THE CLASS
Students are expected to behave in a responsible manner in the science classroom. Many items in
the class are toxic, combustible, breakable or otherwise dangerous. To ensure the safety of
everyone in the classroom, all instructions are to be carefully followed. Students acting in a careless
manner may be asked to leave the classroom. Also, students may not enter the storage room at any
time, unless instructed to do so by the teacher.

CLASS LOG
I update my class log daily on my e-teacher website. This log contains information about all
topics covered, activities completed in class, homework assignments, and upcoming
assessments and tests. Just go to the Fort Saskatchewan Christian website and follow the links
to my e-teacher page.

EDMODO
Edmodo (edmodo.com) is a social media website for students and teachers to connect,
collaborate, and interact with one another using a safe and secure platform. Students sign up
for an account by entering a user name (first name last initial) and password. In order to post
on the site, students must join a class group by entering a password unique to their class.
Teachers control who has access to the site, and monitor all communications. Throughout the
year discussion questions, assignments, and other activities will occur in part on Edmodo.
Joining the group is optional, but is strongly recommended. Parents are encouraged to chat
with me about any concerns they may have. Parents may also join their child’s class group
using the same password with their unique user name (Mr/Mrs/Ms Last name).

The next page contains the class names and login passwords for each class.
NOTE: Students may not join a class of which they are not a part. This will be closely
monitored by the teacher.
