Gothenburg University granted Princess Muna

Amman - Petra – Gothenburg University in Sweden awarded Her Royal
Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein high level award of scientific excellence
for creative tribute to the vital role of Her Highness in the development of
health services and health promotion and education for nursing practice and
promote scientific research and exchange of knowledge and experience at the
regional and international levels. It is worth mentioning also that this is the
first time in the history of Sweden to grant the award for non- Swedes
scientists and talented.
Dr. Rueda Ma'ayteh President of the Hashemite University received the award
on behalf of Her Royal Highness in a celebration which was sponsored by Her
Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and in the presence of the accompanying
delegation, which included Ms. Daad Shouqa Secretary General of the
Jordanian Nursing Council and Dr. Inaam Khalaf Dean of the Faculty of
Nursing at the University of Jordan and Dr. Jihad Al-Halabi.
And HRH got as well a second award from the World Scientific Assembly of
Nursing / Sweden Branch related to the World Branch of the United States in
honour of Her Royal Highness for her role in leadership and development of
health services and the nursing profession.
