State Committee Web Site

The Statewide Technology Committee will need to advise, develop, and maintain the
State Committee’s web site (http://www.delawaregop.com). Based on the requirements
of the State Committee, the Technology Committee will need to advise on how the site
should be developed (develop versus template-based design).

State Committee Social Networking Requirements

The Statewide Technology Committee will need to advise, develop, and maintain the
social networking suite to support the strategic communication strategy of the State
Committee.

Facebook

1. Add Facebook cause groups for State and all seven GOP regions to attract current and
new Facebook users to the Delaware GOP.
2. Facebook can also be utilized to schedule DEGOP and region events.
3. Add Facebook cause groups for conservative causes, on any topic

Blogs

1. Create a listing of conservative blogs
2. Solicit College/Young Republicans to peruse blogs and comment to support
conservative/GOP message
3. Create a conservative bloggers alliance where bloggers support each other

Twitter

1. Utilize Twitter for real-time text commentary on happenings throughout Delaware
regarding politics
2. Utilize Twitter for real-time election tracking to help out on campaigns.
3. Generate feed for Delaware conservatives (model after
http://topconservativesontwitter.org/index.php/tcot-feed)
Other Social Networking Sites

Explore other social networking sites such as Ning, MySpace, etc to help spread the reach
of our party and conservative ideals, values and message.

State Committee Audio/Visual Requirements

The Statewide Technology Team will implement an audio/video strategy that will allow
the Party to communicate via YouTube and Podcasts.

YouTube

1. Create a YouTube account for the State Committee
2. Create videos regularly for GOP events, forums and from office holders and party
leadership. Republish videos on PajamasTV (PJTV), and other social networking sites.

Audio/Podcasts

1. Record and publish podcasts of party leadership, elected office holders and candidates
regularly on positions and statements to help advance the Party message.

Regional Support

The Statewide Technology Team, along with the State Executive Director and Party
Chairman will also need to require input from the Region Chairs.

Region Chairs will have to provide technology requirements to the Statewide Technology
Team.

1.   All Seven Regions must have a web site
2.   Assist in the consultation and consultation of regional web sites

Candidate Support

The Statewide Technology Committee will support all current office holders and new
candidates on their technology strategy.

2.   Develop Social Networking presence for all office holders and candidates
