I.     Call to Order by Cary Adams at 7:00 p.m. and Pledge of Allegiance recited.
II.    Roll Call by Yvonne Demery with 14 present 1 excused 3 absent – Quorum
       present.
III.   Minutes of February 10, 2010 submitted for approval - Yvonne Demery
       Motion #10:007 by Todd Martin second by Gloria Gold to accept the Minutes as
       amended for the Regular Monthly Meeting held on February 10, 2010.
IV.    Community Comment on non-agenda items

               Alfred Tutungi– Director North Hollywood Recreation Center
                     Spring Easter Egg Hunt at North Hollywood Park on April 10,
                        2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
                     Park Advisory Board Meeting on April 6, 2010 at 6 pm at
                        Recreation Center - looking for public’s involvement
       b.      stakeholders.
               Craig Raines - City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks
                    A presentation re the plaza for North Hollywood Park for a skate
                       park was given.

                    Poetry Festival went well, 30 people were in attendance

VIII.   Committee Reports - Committee Chairs.
        Frank Mihelcic - PLUHT
                    Reported on March 3, 2010 PLUHT meeting.
        Yvonne Demery – Beautification Committee
                    Clean up is scheduled for Saturday March 13, 2010
        Cary Adams - Rules and Elections Committee
                    Cut off for getting election materials is March 30 at the City
                       Clerk’s website to run for Neighborhood Council
IX.     Treasurer’s Report - Ms. Corral
                    No longer able to pay from petty cash to Neighborhood Councils
                    The deadline to turn in any billing or invoicing to use roll over
                       funds is March 8, 2010
                    Item 15 on Agenda is for an ad in Daily News and a mailer total
                       cost is $6, 218 money would have to be moved out of other
                       categories into election to cover this amount
X.      Presentation of ‘L.A. Count Kickoff - Jameelia Brown, U.S. Census Bureau
        (North Hollywood Division)
        An update regarding census was given
XI.     Presentation, discussion and possible motions for letter of support for The
        Shanghai Trust Restaurant, 5303 Lankershim Blvd - Nick Colachis &
        Richard Wayland
        Motion #10:008 by Frank Mihelcic second Gloria Gold the Planning Land Use
        Transportation Housing Committee recommends approval for the establishment
        called “TRUST” to stay open until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday for a 6 moth trial
        period.
        Motion carried by unanimous vote
        Motion #10:009 by Frank Mihelcic second Gloria Gold by MTNHNC welcomes
        approves and supports your vision for an elegant restaurant and night club
        establishment named TRUST located at 5303 Lankershim Blvd. NoHo Arts
        District
        Motion carried by unanimous vote
XII.    Presentation by CRA/LA of the Fiscal Year 2011 Proposed Budget for the
        North Hollywood Redevelopment Project - Bill Mason, CRA/LA
        Presentation was given
XIII.   Presentation and possible motions on Neighborhood Council funding,
        rollovers and reorganization and location of NC system, BONC, DONE, By-
        laws and future Mentoring Program - Mary Garcia.

       meeting, chair people of committees shall notify the full council of any vacancies
       on their committees
       Motion denied by majority vote
XV. Report, discussion and possible motions regarding 2010 Election Outreach -
       Vivian Sampson
       Motion #10:011 by Vivian Sampson second by Todd Martin for MTNHNC to
       fund up to $800.00 for Daily News on-line, inserts and print ads for May 2010
       prior to the NC elections
       Motion carried by majority vote
XVI. Presentation, discussion and possible motions regarding the 2009/2010

       Motion #10:012 by Diann Corral second by Radomir Luza to approve the
       amended budget
